About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Medical Specialists. As an MRI Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all front office functions, including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including 2D/3D T1&T2, SE, FSE or TSE, cardiac gating, and advanced protocols.
  • Evaluate the technical quality of procedures and ensure only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
  • Administer contrast media and operate power injectors under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
  • Perform venipuncture for the administration of paramagnetic contrast media in accordance with department policy and procedure.
  • Assist with the orientation and education of staff within the environment.
  • Provide technical leadership and be a technical/job-related resource for staff.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Center/department policies and procedures.
  • Obtain and record all pertinent clinical information relating to procedures.
  • Perform quality control procedures and regularly inspect equipment.
  • Ensure all required documentation, requisitions, forms, charges, and patient's medical record are completed per established Center policy.
Requirements
  • Graduate of JRCERT accredited Imaging program required.
  • Eligible for ARRT MR registration and agree to take/pass within the designated timeframe.
