We are seeking a highly skilled ER Technician to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services to our patients and their families.

• Provide designated patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with physicians' orders and approved patient care standards.
• Perform various patient care activities, including splinting, phlebotomy, 12 lead EKGs, FSBS testing, and POC testing, after completing necessary training.
• Record patient data accurately and implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, based on sensitivity to their psychosocial needs.
• Utilize equipment safely and effectively, adapting to the age and condition of the patient as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months - 1 year related experience
• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
• Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date
