We are seeking a PRN/As needed Registered Nurse to join our Endovascular Procedural Unit at Memorial Health University Medical Center, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for the prep and recovery of patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Angiography/IR suite, or the Hybrid OR.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate a treatment plan for patients in the Endovascular Procedural Unit.
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the immediate post-anesthesia period and transition the patient to Phase II recovery.
- Participate in procedures and diagnostic testing requiring the administration of sedation and monitoring of patients during conscious sedation.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is preferred and required to be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
