Exciting Opportunity at FactoryFix: Deburr and Hand Polish Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced deburr and hand polish technician to join our team at FactoryFix, a busy manufacturer of high-quality products. This is a full-time position working 10 hour shifts from 6am to 4:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate deburring and polishing
  • Select and use the appropriate hand tools or grinders to achieve the required tolerances and surface finishes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to ISO9001 and AS9100D quality standards

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience as a deburr technician, preferably in a quality-controlled environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and instructions, select the right tool, and achieve the required profiles and dimensions
  • Capacity to sit and concentrate on repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Good eyesight and dexterity to manipulate hand tools and grinders

ITAR and Criminal History Requirements:

Due to the nature of our work, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or qualified asylum or refugee
  • Have a clean criminal record with no felony convictions or certain misdemeanors
  • Be willing to undergo a drug test upon receiving a job offer

Job Details:

  • Full-time position

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading
  • Experience in deburring and hand polishing
  • Background in a manufacturing environment

Compensation:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
