Job Summary
The Cell Technology Specialist is responsible for Li Ion cell activities with respect to supplier identification, qualification, and management. This position will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the successful development, production, and delivery of high-quality Li Ion cells.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop relationships with suppliers to understand their capabilities and identify potential partnerships* Investigate new suppliers in the region, keeping up-to-date on their product portfolios and roadmaps* Communicate cell requirements to suppliers and analyze test data from suppliers and internal testing* Support technical discussions with OEM customers within the North American region* Lead requirements analysis and validation planning activities specific to customer projects* Distill OEM system requirements into cell requirements* Supply necessary Li Ion cell-related information to system design teams* Propose, monitor, and assist with internal Clarios Li Ion cell testing* Report on internal Clarios test data* Be the technical contact to Li Ion Cell and component suppliers for production programs performance, quality, and business viability

Requirements
* BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science* 3-7 years of professional engineering experience in related field* Li Ion cell chemistry and cell design required* Knowledge of APQP quality systems preferred* Experience working with OE Automotive/Tier highly desirable* Experience with Li Ion cell manufacturing highly desired* Estimated salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
