Position Overview: As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia support within the Cardiovascular Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care, including delegating tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Assess and identify changes in patient status, providing appropriate interventions under the supervision of an Anesthesia Provider.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of equipment checks, supplies, and anesthesia-related documentation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by a CRNA or Anesthesiologist.
  • Monitor compliance with standards of practice and report any variances through the appropriate channels.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited RN, Paramedic, or LPN program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant field.
  • Current FL RN, Paramedic, or LPN License; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • IV Certification is necessary.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift with on-call requirements.
