Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Ventura Foods LLC. As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, processing tanks, and vats to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining daily operational production efficiency and sanitation duties.
  • Transport trash and other waste to the disposal area and clean floors using sanitation chemicals as required.
  • Actively participate in the training of new hires and/or transfers.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Comply with all GMP, Safety Procedures, Company Policies, Quality Policies, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points as they apply to this position.
  • Operate forklift or hand lift to transport materials as needed.
  • Communicate problems or concerns with appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Prior sanitation experience is preferred.
