Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with examination and treatment of patients by performing various administrative and clinical tasks.
  • Complete intake and prepare patients for healthcare visits by obtaining medical history and verifying patient information.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently in our electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with point-of-care testing and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent work experience.
  • Nationally recognized certifications (e.g., CMA) preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in family or pediatric medicine.
  • Familiarity with Athenahealth practice management system.
Working Conditions

This position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
