We seek skilled engineers to oversee engineering initiatives across various security classifications for a government program office.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
- Utilizes engineering methodologies to explore, assess, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapon systems.
- Reviews and generates engineering and technical assessments, reports, modification proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Employs engineering expertise to execute tasks such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or resource management.
- Evaluates, designs, develops, implements, tests, or assesses software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems and associated support systems.
Essential Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a pertinent Engineering or Science field.
- Experience:
- Proven capability to lead technical initiatives throughout all phases of product development.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge in an Engineering discipline.
- Adept at functioning in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple security levels.
- Experience with Department of Defense Acquisition Programs.
- Providing program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to government leadership.
- Collecting, organizing, and interpreting technical data related to weapon system acquisition projects.
- Engaging with programs to evaluate performance against plans and identify technical risks.
- Monitoring program/project status and timelines.
- Conducting project status analysis and producing high-quality technical reports and presentations.
- Communicating effectively with government team counterparts.
- Clearance Requirement:
- Possession of an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
