Radiation Therapist Job Summary

At Hunterdon Health, we are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe administration of radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by physicians, utilizing ionizing radiation-producing equipment.
  • Monitor patient condition and assess the need for changes to the treatment plan.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and record all necessary parameters to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Document patient treatment and assessments thoroughly and accurately.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited training program in radiation therapy.
  • Current New Jersey DEP License (Radiation Therapy) and ARRT-Certified.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking skills, and a focus on patient safety and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher in health care or related field.
  • Minimum one year experience in radiation oncology.
