Primary Care Medical Director Opportunity

Baptist Health is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Primary Care Medical Director to lead our primary care practices across Arkansas. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our primary care clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic leadership and oversight to our primary care practices, ensuring alignment with Baptist Health's mission and values.
  2. Collaborate with our Population Health Service Organization to implement value-based care contracts and delivery of care.
  3. Develop and maintain a quality improvement process for each primary care practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Lead the effort to evaluate and improve clinic operations, including provider recruitment and retention.
  5. Work closely with our Directors of Practice Operations to ensure seamless integration of primary care services across our network.
  6. Consult with our Information Services team to develop expertise in payment transformation programs and total cost of care initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
  • Board Certification in a Primary Care Discipline
  • More than 10 years of primary care practice experience
