Join Our Team as a Financial Planning Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Director to join our team at Valentino. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts, to ensure accurate financial projections and informed business decisions.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide timely and insightful financial analysis and reporting to support business strategy and decision-making, including weekly sales reporting, monthly consolidated income statement reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Capex Appraisal: Lead the evaluation and approval process for capital expenditures, ensuring that all projects are thoroughly assessed and aligned with business objectives.
  • Accounting Month-End Close: Collaborate with the Accounting Director and team to ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes, identifying and addressing any variances or issues.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts and business partners, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Finance Experience: Proven experience in finance, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail and wholesale industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, and PowerPoint, with experience in SAP and team management.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of driving results and developing high-performing teams.

Compensation: $160,000-$170,000 per year, with a discretionary bonus opportunity, based on market location and experience.
