Pulmonary Services Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to fill the role of Pulmonary Clinical Services Manager at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality pulmonary care services in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Job SummaryAs a Pulmonary Clinical Services Manager, you will be accountable for managing staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating plans of treatment, customer-focused delivery of services, and cost-effective utilization of services. You will work closely with other healthcare providers to develop and implement efficient pulmonary care services and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance pulmonary care services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic plans.
- Coordinate plans of treatment, customer-focused delivery of services, and cost-effective utilization of services, ensuring compliance with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Review best practice models, including systems development and cost-effective care delivery models, to inform pulmonary care services and outcomes.
- Manage staff, ensuring they are fully competent in providing high-quality care, and determine appropriate staffing to maintain service levels.
- Develop and present in-service programs to medical center staff, and manage and resolve human resource, employee, and department safety, and risk management issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Four years of management experience in respiratory care, in a multi-faceted healthcare system, multi-service provider setting, or academic setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in respiratory care, healthcare administration, nursing, business administration, or completion within two years or four years of equivalent experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner License (California) and Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.
A Master's degree is preferred, and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as budgeting, staffing, systems, quality improvement, and clinical care delivery in an inpatient setting, is highly desirable.
