Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at a correctional facility in Delano, California. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address inmate needs
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to inmates
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-year previous working experience within the last 36 months as a Psychologist
  • Must be proficient in the English language and be able to communicate effectively
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
  • Must have the required licenses, permits, and/or certifications in the state of CA
