Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients for appointments and accurately verify demographics
  • Coordinate and perform front office activities in an efficient manner
  • Communicate with patients and staff to ensure timely resolution of accounts
  • Process multi-channel messages related to patient and/or physician requests
  • Collect fees at time of service and notify patients of anticipated financial responsibility
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
