Job Summary

We're seeking a highly qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Physician to join our multidisciplinary treatment teams. As a key member of our team, you will diagnose illnesses, prescribe, and administer treatment for individuals suffering from psychiatric disorders. You will work closely with patients, prescribe psychotropic medications, provide psychotherapies, and advocate for patient's best treatment options within healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care Duties:
    • Practice evidence-based, high-quality psychiatric medicine
    • Encourage patient understanding, involvement in care, and treatment decisions
    • Achieve and maintain optimal patient access to care
    • Support system efforts towards care improvements, standardization of care, implementation of care guidelines, and clinical outcomes research
  • Collaborate on care delivery by:
    • Including staff, other physicians, and management in service and patient care improvements
    • Treating all teammates with respect
    • Demonstrating the highest levels of ethical and professional conduct
    • Behaving in a manner consistent with company mission and values
  • Advocate for patients by:
    • Providing consistent and timely documentation regarding patient's need for level of care
    • Participating in insurance peer reviews to optimize optimal length of stay for treatment
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical School and completed Accredited Residency Program and fellowships for specialists or equivalent training Required
  • Physician Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Required
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state(s) seeing patients Required
  • BLS/CPR certifications, Licensures, and Registrations Required
