Job Summary

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Perform timely and accurate documentation
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Teach and counsel patients/families
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • At least 2 years of experience
