We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Assistant to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents in a safe and organized manner
- Document medication administration and resident care in accordance with company policies
- Assist residents with self-administration of medications
- Count narcotics in accordance with company policy
- Participate in the life enrichment program and engage with residents
- Comply with company training requirements and maintain a high level of safety and privacy of resident information
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and use of adaptive equipment
- Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a professional and respectful manner
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous Med Passer experience required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
- Ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest
- Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
