Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform business requirements into winning delivery solutions that meet performance goals.
  • Build and test applications with a focus on defect-free programming and quality code.
  • Contribute to project plans, estimations, and status updates.
  • Identify and resolve issues, and communicate with stakeholders as needed.
  • Make enhancements and troubleshoot applications.
  • Configure and develop custom components with technology partners.
  • Ensure applications are secure and follow standard security practices.
  • Proactively suggest solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Complete unit and integration testing per standards and design specs.
  • Respect client technology delivery practices and standards.
  • Stay on top of state-of-health monitoring and monthly SLA targets.
  • Apply and share technical expertise during incident management.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience developing mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, SAS, VSAM, CA7/Endevor.
  • 5-7 years of experience (tier 1) or 7+ years of experience (tier 2).
  • In-depth knowledge of mainframe technologies and troubleshooting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Good understanding of Creational, Structural, Behavioral Design Patterns, architecture patterns, Application, and Integration architectures.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Financial Industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow (Incident Management).
  • Strong business analytical skills.
