  • Evaluate patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress towards patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate care between other professional disciplines as needed.
  • Help patients and/or staff identify problems and explore alternative choices and outcomes.
  • Execute therapeutic physician orders and therapeutic nursing interventions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Alabama license required.
  • BLS within 90 days of hire required.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire required.

Experience:

  • Previous nursing experience in a critical care setting with successful demonstration of supervisory and/or management ability required.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
