Position Title: Sanitation Specialist

Role Overview:

As a vital member of our manufacturing team, you will oversee sanitation operations within our facility, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while supporting production and packaging processes.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, primarily during the day
  • Weekend work is a requirement, with 1 to 2 weekdays off
  • Flexibility to work overtime and various shifts, including nights and holidays
  • Our plant operates continuously, with potential for increased hours during peak demand

Compensation:

  • $19.04 per hour

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the production of high-quality food products enjoyed nationwide

  • Ensure adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and manage sanitation tasks
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and pressure washers
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintain documentation for compliance
  • Participate in pest control measures and maintain a safe working environment
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in industrial or food manufacturing sanitation preferred
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and safety protocols
  • A minimum of 3 years of sanitation experience is desirable

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Capable of performing physical tasks for extended periods
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various environmental conditions
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and grooming standards
