Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing and guiding craft workers (including general laborers and concrete form setters) in tasks related to concrete forming, placement, finishing, curing, and cutting.
- Planning, managing, and supervising the layout, material storage, maintenance, and inspections of concrete construction in accordance with relevant plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Preparing the layout for building foundations.
- Maintaining effective relationships with other trades, subcontractors, and the main project team.
- Working on elevated platforms, including ladders and scaffolding.
- Leading the Safety Program at KNCC.
- Utilizing construction technology tools such as Procore, MS Office, and iPads.
- Performing additional carpentry tasks on-site as required.
- A minimum of 7 years of carpentry experience is required.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Central Oregon Region.
- Physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand-eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
