Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team at C&L Maintenance Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing our invoicing process, from preparation to submission.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Creation: Develop accurate and detailed invoices based on completed work orders.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Review and approve vendor and supplier invoices, escalating any discrepancies or concerns.
  • Quote Development: Prepare after-the-fact quotes and collaborate with the operations team to resolve billing issues.
  • Invoice Submission: Manually submit invoices and after-the-fact quotes through client portals, ensuring all required information is complete.

Key Requirements:

  • Basic Arithmetic: Possess basic arithmetic skills, including business math.
  • Reliable Commuting: Be able to reliably commute to River Grove HQ for training and in-office workdays.
  • Software Competence: Be proficient in various software programs, including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and navigating within a computer.
  • Accounting Software Experience: Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage Intact is beneficial.
