Job Summary

The Critical Care Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and adjust plans as needed
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 6 months of hire
  • 1 year of RN experience, with 6 months of experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit
