As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Utilizing your expertise in anatomy and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and effectively.
  • Assisting in the diagnosis of various medical conditions through precise imaging.
  • Ensuring the safety of patients and staff in proximity to MRI equipment.
  • Positioning patients correctly and administering contrast media as necessary.
  • Setting technical parameters and monitoring image data during scans.
  • Recognizing and addressing any abnormalities in imaging results.
  • Responding to critical situations with appropriate urgency.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Delivering high-quality patient care in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Promoting a safe working environment that prioritizes patient safety.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A completed two-year program in Radiologic Technology.
  • A valid state radiology registration as mandated by local laws.
  • A minimum of eighteen months of experience in MRI technology, preferably in a critical care environment.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
