Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Immunization Nurse to join our team as a Per Diem healthcare professional. As a Per Diem employee, you will have the flexibility to choose your own hours and work on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities
  • Perform biometric screenings at client sites, including finger stick blood collection;
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings and Immunization clinics;
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records;
  • Participate in training and continuing education programs as necessary;
  • Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures, including the use of protective equipment when necessary;
  • Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices;
  • Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events;
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and/or medical license (Nursing license);
  • Formal medical education, including current appropriate medical certification;
  • Additional medical certification/licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements;
  • At least 2 years of healthcare experience in a professional healthcare setting;
  • Completion of a fingerstick within the last 2 years;
  • Proficient with finger stick blood collection methods and manual blood pressure;
  • At least 1 year Immunization/IM injections experience;
  • CardioChek machine experience preferred;
  • Skills required for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation, and storage.
Work Environment
  • Worksite wellness screenings typically take place in a corporate/conference room type setting;
  • Travel is required to screening event locations, within a 30-mile radius;
  • Lift light to moderately heavy objects, up to 40 pounds;
  • Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness;
  • Examining/observing details;
  • COVID-19 precautions;
  • Remote interview process;
  • Personal protective equipment provided or required;
  • Plastic shield at work stations;
  • Temperature screenings;
  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place.

All protective gear will be provided on site.
