Area Coach

The Area Coach is a key leadership role responsible for providing overall guidance and support to Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) in Taco Bell restaurants. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that RGMs meet or exceed their Annual Operating Plan targets.

• Support RGM Development
  • Role model the company's leadership principles and values.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop talented RGMs and Assistant General Managers.
  • Conduct comprehensive orientations to ensure new managers are set up for success.
  • Build a strong bench of future restaurant leaders.
  • Coach RGMs on key performance indicators and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Drive performance and development through daily skills impartation.
• Ensure Consistent Customer Satisfaction
  • Role model exceptional customer service and lead by example.
  • Conduct regular store visits and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coach RGMs to deliver consistent customer experiences across all restaurants.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address customer complaints and concerns.
  • Lead product and program rollouts to ensure successful execution.
• Drive Sales and Profitability
  • Analyze financial performance and identify trends to inform coaching and development.
  • Coach RGMs on sales and profitability strategies using key performance metrics.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to RGMs, Assistant General Managers, and Shift Managers.

• Strong preference for internal promotion from RGM or MTM position.
• Associate's or undergraduate degree or equivalent Taco Bell/industry experience.
• 6-8 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• Thorough knowledge of Taco Bell performance metrics, product specifications, and management systems.
• Technical proficiency in food preparation, production, and delivery.
• Demonstrated track record of developing managerial employees and driving customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.
• Ability to travel to designated stores and work with management teams on a regular basis.
