This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company's operations, leveraging your expertise in lean engineering, logistics, and supply chain optimization to drive process improvements and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Lead integration efforts with WCS, WMS, and LMS systems
  • Conduct facility layout and MHE design, partnering with customers and Kenco operations to achieve project results
  • Track value creation and ensure work measurement systems are developed, implemented, and effective
  • Conduct process observations and time-motion studies to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze labor management data to drive operational decisions
  • Line balancing, one-piece flow simulation analysis, zoning/slotting, and profile analysis
  • Takt time methods, value stream mapping, measurement systems analysis, and exploratory data analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Logistics Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of applied experience in a distribution setting (or 3PL), or Master's degree with 2 years of experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred
  • Proficiency in project management, programming knowledge (Python, R, C++), and experience with WCS, automation solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data to identify trends, performance results, and opportunities for improvement
