Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform repairs
  • Coordinate the activities of a maintenance team and serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Manager with training and mentoring maintenance technicians
  • Train employees on equipment related to assigned area
  • Make daily shift reports and prioritize work based on Planner/Schedule
  • Follow escalation process and assign tasks to team members
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve potential issues
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with machinery, tools, and building systems
  • Perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation
  • Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment preferred
  • Proficiency or ability to learn the following: Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc Robots, welding/fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, and reading and interpreting blueprints
