Job Summary

  • The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, utilizing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care is required, including oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, and ventilator management.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Certified/registered or eligible to be certified/registered in CRT or RRT is required.
  • NRP and BLS Certification within 6 months of employment is required.
  • Licensure for Respiratory Care according to South Dakota regulatory requirements is necessary.
