Phlebotomy Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Phlebotomy Specialist at Actalent, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques. You will also perform data entry, process billing information, and prepare specimens for testing. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
* Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
* Process billing information and collect payments when required
* Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
* Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Requirements:

* Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
* Minimum of 2-4 years work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* High School Diploma or GED
