Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of construction work performed by contractors to ensure compliance with contract documents and quality assurance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, including documentation of deviations from contract documents and recommendations for technical solutions.
• Review submittals and other construction documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Participate in construction meetings, safety meetings, and project site coordination meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and document contractor resource utilization, including labor, materials, and equipment, for field changes and time and material work.
• Verify equipment and materials installation for payment purposes.
• Maintain Payment Quantity documentation to ensure percentage completion is concurrent with construction.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of construction inspection experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Continuing Education Diploma or Certification in Construction related area, Associates or Bachelors in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction, a related field of study or area preferred.
• Civil and utility experience on heavy civil construction projects.
• OSHA 10 Safety and Confined Space Entry Training.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $106,000.
