Role Responsibilities:
This role is essential to the Mission and Ministry Department, collaborating with team members to address the comprehensive needs of patients, families, and staff. Utilizing music therapy techniques, you will:
• Conduct assessments and implement therapy to enhance physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being
• Facilitate individual and group music therapy sessions
• Ensure safe and effective service delivery
• Mentor and supervise music therapy interns under the guidance of the Internship Director
• Uphold compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Foster a culture of trust, belonging, and hope within the healthcare team
Value Proposition:

• Participate in program development and assist with patient rounds
• Lead music therapy sessions for diverse age groups, from children to seniors
• Adhere to the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) standards and apply therapeutic processes effectively

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy
Preferred:
• 1,200 hours of clinical music therapy experience, including an internship in a medical setting
Licensure:
Required:
• MT-BC (Music Therapist – Board Certified) certification
Preferred:
• NICU-MT certification
• Neurologic Music Therapy designation
