This role offers flexibility with options for PRN, Part Time, or Full Time employment. As a Patient Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver essential personal care services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional health is prioritized. You will assist residents with their daily living activities while adhering to established nursing care protocols in accordance with our facility's policies and standards.

Sign-On Bonuses:

  • Full Time: $1500.00
  • Part Time: $1000.00
  • PRN: $500.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives nursing handover and executes resident assignments effectively.
  • Provides personal hygiene assistance in line with residents' care plans.
  • Supports residents with various needs, including the application of slings and splints.
  • Responds swiftly to resident requests, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Records and reports any changes in residents' health status.
  • Participates in the admission and discharge processes for residents.
  • Monitors vital signs and adheres to infection control protocols.
  • Demonstrates respect for residents and acknowledges their preferences.
  • Engages in training sessions and staff meetings to improve skills.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills in English are essential.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Florida is required.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Active CPR Certification in Florida must be obtained within six months of employment.
