Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Fleet Refrigeration Technician Part-Time to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of refrigerated vehicles, ensuring compliance with all state and federal trucking regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigerated vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Document and complete maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used.
- Perform road rescue and transport equipment as needed.
- Backup other maintenance shop personnel as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
- Ability to read and understand technical and service manuals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
