Job Summary

The Executive Culinary Director position at Superior Trim will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and workplace standards. This role will partner with the leadership team to cultivate a comfortable environment for customers and staff, while maintaining the highest level of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing, storage, preparation, handling, and serving of all food and beverage products
  • Oversee revenue growth and profitability of the business
  • Hire, train, and manage BOH staff
  • Implement training techniques and delegate responsibilities
  • Approve vacation time and ensure employee compliance with company policies
  • Disciplinary actions and documentation
  • Ensure staff presents themselves in the best manner for Superior Trim
  • Oversight of food operations, including purchasing, menu creation, and catering coordination
  • Ensure total cleanliness of all properties
  • Complete various financial and payroll duties as needed
  • Attend weekly meetings with FOH Supervisor to coordinate operations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 2-year Culinary Arts degree and/or other culinary certification, or relatable experience
  • Previous experience in a head chef or managerial kitchen position
  • American Culinary Federation certification preferred
  • ServSafe certification
  • Effective and clear communicator
  • Experience planning, designing, and preparing menus/meals
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
