Job Summary

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will perform a range of maintenance, fabrication, and construction duties to ensure equipment and physical plant are in good working order. This role will involve moving and installing machines, rebuilding and repairing power tools, machine tools, assembly equipment, and lift trucks, among other tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Basic troubleshooting of PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, motion/motor control, three-phase power, and AC variable frequency drives.
  • Fabrication and machining of components to repair fixtures, jigs, and parts for project, maintenance tasks, and equipment repair/modifications.
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Utilization of blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals as needed.
  • Operation of a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Safe operation of powered industrial trucks, cranes, and other industrial access equipment.
  • Lifting of light and/or heavy parts on and off a cart, floor, shelf, etc.
  • Maintenance of CMMS records as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of related experience.
  • Technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, motion/motor control, three-phase power, and AC variable frequency drives.
  • Ability to fabricate and machine components to repair fixtures, jigs, and parts for project, maintenance tasks, and equipment repair/modifications.
  • Basic computer skills, especially knowledge of MS-Office package.
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
  • Ability to problem-solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
