About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Pawtucket Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, well-being, and participation of our residents in life through engagement in occupation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat residents with conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling, to improve their ability to perform tasks of daily living.
  • Conduct physical and psychological assessments of clients and develop or follow a treatment plan.
  • Aid patients in improving their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities.
  • Incorporate physical exercises to increase patients' strength and dexterity.
  • Maintain documentation of Resident care services by auditing records.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams and contribute to a team effort.
Requirements
  • Current Florida License as a OTR (Occupational Therapist)
  • Current CPR
  • At least one (1) year experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
