ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Culinary Specialist, you will work under the guidance of the Executive Culinary Team, playing a vital role in supporting all culinary operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a welcoming and positive demeanor while upholding professionalism at all times.
  • Implement and uphold a guest service philosophy that guides team members in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Culinary Team to discuss assignments, expected business levels, and relevant job performance information.
  • Ensure that only the highest quality products are served to guests.
  • Demonstrate strong culinary skills, including proficiency in meat and fish butchery, sauce preparation, and advanced cooking techniques.
  • Adhere to County Health/Sanitation regulations and Legends Hospitality standards.
  • Deliver efficient service and quality products while fostering positive customer and client relationships through effective communication.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is in proper working order and regularly cleaned.
  • Exhibit flexibility by rotating to different service locations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred candidates will possess a culinary degree or have completed a certified apprenticeship program, with 2-3 years of cooking experience in the contract foodservice industry, particularly in premium services, catering, and concessions within sports or entertainment venues.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer and client service, with demonstrated initiative and leadership capabilities.
  • Customer service-oriented, with the ability to engage with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Must remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and consistently provide excellent guest service.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to make independent evaluations and decisions.
  • Willingness to accept and execute management directives.
  • Availability to work during major events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
