Career Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized respiratory care, including ventilator management, nebulizer treatment, chest PT, drawing arterial blood gases, oxygen therapies, external ventilation support, and pulmonary function assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

An Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program and certification as a CRT by NBRC are required. The ideal candidate will also possess active licenses in the state of Nebraska and/or Iowa as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $31.92 - $46.29 per hour.
