Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at PIH Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing equipment and accessories, and employing techniques and procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy, using digital and computed radiographic (CR) equipment.
  • Utilize equipment and accessories, such as contrast media and imaging software, to support diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Employ techniques and procedures, such as positioning and exposure control, to ensure high-quality images.
  • Support colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care, responding to patient needs, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Certificate from the California Radiologic Technologists (CRT) within 30 days of hospital orientation
  • Fluoroscopy permit, obtained within the initial 120-day evaluation period
  • CPR/BLS - Basic Life Support certification
  • One (1) year work experience or two (2) years internship in a hospital setting
  • Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and digital imaging
Preferred Qualifications
  • Venipuncture certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)
