Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Behavior Technicians. In this capacity, you will have the chance to positively influence the lives of children with autism.

Key Responsibilities: As a Behavior Technician, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with children, executing tailored behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will involve applying evidence-based methods to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while minimizing challenging behaviors.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for individuals who are genuinely committed to supporting children with autism in achieving their maximum potential. Patience, empathy, and teamwork are essential qualities for this position. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared to assist each child, regardless of your prior experience. Given the nature of the work, candidates should be physically capable of standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $16 - $20

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to assist children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and effective in team settings
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and pass a Tuberculosis test (if applicable)
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check
  • Physical capability to perform various movements (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
