Position Summary

Stewart & Stevenson is seeking a skilled Power Generator Field Service Technician II. This role involves diagnosing and addressing issues with power generation systems at client locations, along with executing essential repairs, including the replacement of batteries, chargers, block heaters, and additional support apparatus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively troubleshoot and identify standard issues with power generation systems.
  • Conduct repairs on power generation systems and associated support apparatus; replace components as required.
  • Determine and procure necessary parts for repairs and routine servicing.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance on equipment in line with established protocols.
  • Assist senior technicians on larger projects as needed.
  • Ensure a tidy and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to established quality standards and safety regulations during all tasks.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven ability to perform tasks accurately and thoroughly.
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic.
  • Capable of managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) along with two to four years of relevant experience is required.

Technical Skills

Basic computer navigation skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Proficiency in using laptops and portable diagnostic tools is necessary. A clean driving record and a valid Driver's License are mandatory.
