Senior Restoration Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Restoration Estimator to join our team at the Michaelis Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and managing reconstruction projects, including water damage, storm damage, fire damage, smoke and odor damage, mold remediation, and remodel projects.

Responsibilities- Conduct thorough on-site inspections to assess damages from various sources, including water, storms, fires, and mold.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates using Xactimate for both emergency mitigation and full reconstruction projects.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to obtain approvals for estimates and ensure timely project completion.
- Develop and document detailed scopes of work, covering all phases of restoration, from mitigation to reconstruction.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and subcontractors to manage project execution, ensuring seamless transitions from emergency services to reconstruction and put-back.
- Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating project details, timelines, and expectations to clients throughout the process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they stay within budget, scope, and timeline.
- Stay updated on industry standards, certifications, and best practices related to restoration, mitigation, and reconstruction.
- Xactimate experience: Proven ability to prepare accurate estimates for various types of projects.
- IICRC Certifications: Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT), and Mold Remediation preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in mitigation and full structural put-back services.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Competitive base salary with performance-based commissions ($75,000-$115,000+ total earnings).
