Salary and Benefits

$50,000 - $80,000+ annually, plus comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, professional liability, long-term disability, and short-term disability.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Creating tailored education plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Providing Specialized Instruction: Delivering one-on-one or small group instruction based on student needs.
  • Collaborating with Staff: Working closely with general education teachers and other school staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are provided.
  • Tracking Student Progress: Monitoring and documenting student behavior, academic progress, and development.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher in California.
  • Experience working with students with special needs in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
