Job Details
  • Specialty: Registered Nurse

  • Shifts: 3 shifts per week, Sunday to Saturday
  • Required Time Off: Must be submitted at the time of application
  • Licensure: NJ or Compact license required upon submission
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department required
  • Patient Care: Must be capable of caring for patients of all acuity levels and ages, including pediatrics
  • On Call: No on-call duties
  • Scheduling: No blocked scheduling
  • Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4-5, depending on staffing
  • Charting System: Experience with Cerner preferred
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted with ED experience
  • Uniform: Navy blue scrubs required
Job Requirements
  • 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • 8 total Stroke contact hours including NIHSS and TNCC or 4 Trauma contact hours (can be obtained prior to start date)
Schedule Information
  • 3 shifts per week, Sunday to Saturday
  • Scheduling will be based on departmental needs; may include back-to-back weekends or multiple weekend shifts
  • Holiday work may be required
Unit Specific Information
  • Travel pairs will not be accepted
  • Patient ratio typically 1:4-5, based on staffing
Additional Details
  • Travelers who accept an offer must complete the necessary documentation within 48 hours of signing the contract
  • Proof of I-9 or Attestation required
  • Government-issued photo ID required
  • Proof of E-Verify or Attestation required
