Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Nursing. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of procedures, including body, vascular, and neuro interventions. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with all adult IR procedures, including body, vascular, and neuro interventions
  • Titrating drips, managing central lines, and conducting CT guided procedures and bone biopsies
  • Utilize Philips monitors to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
  • Work independently to complete procedures and tasks
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, such as ICU or ED
  • Experience with Philips monitors and other medical equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • AHA certifications, including BCLS and ACLS
Work Schedule

Shifts may extend past the scheduled end time for completing procedures. Backup shifts are required approximately once a week, and every 5th or 6th Saturday work requirement may apply.

Additional Details

AHA certifications only are accepted. Certification completion cards are acceptable for up to 1 month until the official card is issued. Certification requirements by unit are described in the facility's profile page.
