Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse with Riverside Health System, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the total nursing care of assigned patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, adhering to standards of excellence established by Riverside Health System and facility goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs, applying standards of practice to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Partner with patients and their families to facilitate safe patient transitions and ensure consistent, competent, and ethical care.
  • Modify education methods to ensure patient/family understanding and coordinate individualized patient education and discharge-specific education to family/caregivers.
  • Accurately complete all required clinical and quality documentation consistently per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Delegate and prioritize tasks appropriately to facilitate quality patient care and service excellence.
Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • Program Graduate, Registered Nurse (Required)
Experience
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred but not required.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Department of Health Professions (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
  • Specialty Certification in Nursing Specialty within 1 Year (Preferred)
Work Commitment
  • Selected applicants must sign a two (2) year work agreement for a full-time position or three (3) year work agreement for a part-time position within Riverside Health System.
