Job Title: Medical Director of Vascular Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director of Vascular Surgery to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. As a key member of our vascular surgery department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of vascular surgeons, and contributing to the growth and development of our program.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive vascular surgery services to patients, including preoperative and postoperative care
  • Lead a team of vascular surgeons and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce complications, and enhance the overall vascular surgery experience
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Board certification in vascular surgery
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship program
  • At least three years of experience as an attending vascular surgeon
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
