Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Italian to teach beginning and intermediate Italian language courses at the University of California, Irvine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach one or more sections of beginning and/or intermediate Italian language courses (Italian 1 and/or 2)
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals
Requirements
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Italian
  • Experience teaching Italian language at the university level
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
